The Golden Age Centers offers many services to support the independence and continued intellectual, physical and social development of people over the age of sixty. We do this in a variety of ways.
We manage four stand-alone senior centers throughout the Greater Cleveland area. These centers offer a variety of services and opportunities for social interaction, intellectual stimulation, physical health and well-being, and supportive services if help is ever needed. Each center has its own unique "character and feel," and is home to hundreds of members.
We also manage eight centers located within CMHA supportive housing. These centers also provide opportunities for social interaction, intellectual and physical support, and supportive services.
Finally, GAC manages an expansive home delivered meal program. We provide a hot, nutritious, midday meal to hundreds of homebound seniors every weekday. This meal is delivered to their doors where one of our friendly drivers not only provides a meal, but also a friendly face to check in and make sure everything and everybody is all right.
