Hough & Glenville Neighborhoods Cleveland
Growing older is a phenomenon of the 20th century and will present numerous challenges and opportunities in the 21st century.
In the mid-20th century, the first generation of older persons as part of an enormous population group began to emerge. For that generation of older persons, long life is a surprise. In the 21st century, most people will expect to live a long life.
While many older persons live fulfilling lives surrounded by supportive families, many have no family for support and social interaction. The fourteen Golden Age Centers are dedicated to having fun while growing old gracefully in a family setting.
